Lockdown Lessons: Part Two

Here is part two of Lockdown Lessons. I hope you can resonate with what I have written. Enjoy!

26. Be open to learning new things.
27. You must be okay with feeling uncomfortable feelings. That is how you grow.
28. Always be ready and open to check yourself.
29. Quality over quantity in everything in life.
30. Human emotions are so annoyingly yet beautifully complex and complicated.
31. Words can empower you as well as destroy you.
32. Be present while spending time with your family.
33. Nothing matters if there isn’t inner peace.
34. You can’t force people to feel a certain way just because you want them to feel that way.
35. I think everyone will always be in constant battle with their thoughts, only the level of intensity varies and the only thing we can work on is to keep the intensity low.
36. We will never know ourselves fully, but we can spend the rest of our lives trying to know as much as possible and try to be our most authentic selves.
37. The mind decides to train the mind, which is our most powerful tool.
38. You don’t have to think about how something will happen, you just have to believe that it will.
39. Stress sucks. One must learn to cope with it before it starts seriously affecting health.
40. If we had the means of doing things differently, we would do them differently.
41. Curiosity makes life worth living.
42. It is important to be uncomfortable sometimes in order to realise one’s full potential. As they say, the magic begins outside your comfort zone.
43. Everyone has a purpose, or do they? How and why else would you keep going? What can one define as life’s purpose? Is it necessary to have purpose?
44. Constant emotional availability shouldn’t be expected since all of us are trying to navigate our own set of complexities.
45. Money isn’t everything. It is important, but not as important as several other things like fulfilment, satisfaction. It isn’t something to be chased. It cannot and should not be the purpose of your job or your existence.
46. You are the true you when you are alone.
47. Loving yourself is way easier said than done.
48. Humans get increasingly complex as we dig deeper into ourselves. We will spend the rest of our lives discovering, learning, unlearning and relearning.
49. True love exists, but is everyone lucky enough to find it?
50. Treats are meant to be enjoyed, there is no point in making healthy versions of them. (Unless you really don’t have other options, of course)

That’s it for this short collection of thoughts!
